Bohman Bee Company's Tupelo honey comes from the nectar of the white Ogeechee tupelo (Nyssa ogeche) tree, which grows in the swamps and riverbanks of the southeastern United States, particularly in Florida and Georgia. It's a rare honey due to the specific location and the short blooming season of the tupelo trees, which lasts only about 3 weeks.

  • Appearance:
    • Color: Pure tupelo honey has a light golden amber color, often with a subtle greenish cast when held up to the light.
